Letterpress wedding invitations.

It's nice to keep my toes in the water with small projects such as these.
A 5 color job for some close friends.

And a 3 color job for my niece and her beau.

OMG

I can't stand this interface. Without getting into the annoying code, I can't figure out how to format these blog posts to make them look nice. Sorry.

I haven't given up on crochet!

Leg warmers for a special 1 year old.
A quick scarf with two kinds of yarn for my little sweetie.

This cap was intended for my husband, but ended up fitting my 4 year old instead. I am working on enlarging the pattern, but I've already made it way too big and ended up frogging it.

adventures in knitting

I learned to knit! Beginning from my first projects (the humble dishrag) to my latest masterpieces. (ha!)
I must have made 5 dishrags before I felt confident enough to move on to other things!
This is the Wham Bam Thank You Lamb pattern from ravelry.com.
This is more the correct color.
First project worked in the round. The Poplar Cowl.

Made this one for my mom -- It's the Churchmouse Ruffle Scarf. It felt like it took forever since it was worked end to end, but my mom loves it. That makes it worth it.

Couldn't find the pattern for this one on ravelry.com, but that's where I found it originally. It's a pretty basic baby cap.
I ended up making a bunch of these, since I knew of at least 20 friends and acquaintances having babies last year.

This one was intended for my 1-1/2 year old son, but it turned out too big.

My first pair of knit socks! They're for one of those babies born in 2012. I made these from a book I have had for years. I actually made 3 socks... I screwed up the second one, so I had to knit up a third one.

This was my first sweater ever knit! It was another baby gift and much easier than I imagined it would be. It's the Yoked Cardigan from KnitBot.

More calendar stuff

Here's this year's calendar page. I really like the way it turned out.
Also, I've updated my Spoonflower tea towel calendar for 2013.

Lots of posts coming...

Trying to keep up with my blog isn't really working out. It's been just over a year since my last post. I just went through my photo libraries and pulled out all the project photos. There are a lot of them, so the explanations may be short and I hope I get through them all. :)
